Nutriera Expert was invited to attend the Bangladesh Technical Seminar and deliver keynote presentation

On November 7, 2024, the technical seminar "Optimizing Poultry Feed and Aqua Feed Manufacturing", hosted by Switzerland's Buhler Group, was grandly held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Experts from European and Chinese teams of Buhler Group , senior management from its Southeast Asia region and Bangladesh, as well as executives, nutritionists, and sales leaders from Bangladesh's most promising feed enterprises attended the event. Mr. Wang Yaohua, Technical Director of Nutriera Group, was invited to participate and deliver a technical keynote presentation.

Bangladesh is a major feed producer but still faces numerous technical challenges in feed production. Mr. Romeo Camenisch, Senior Expert from European region of Buhler, shared key quality control points in poultry and aquafeed manufacturing, highlighting Buhler's profound expertise in feed equipment and production processes. His presentation demonstrated the immense value of professional feed production technology, leaving a strong impression on attendees.

Aqua feed extrusion technology has developed rapidly in Bangladesh in recent years, but challenges remain in feed appearance consistency and process operation maturity. Buhler's senior expert Mr. Jan Jonkers delivered two presentations: "How to Control Bulk Density of Aqua Feed" and "Oil Spraying Technology for Extruded Feed", analyzing key factors in controlling feed density and critical process technologies for fat coating. Participants were once again impressed by Buhler's sophisticated aqua feed processing technology and actively engaged in discussions with the experts.

Mr. Liang Guangcai, President of Buhler Asia Feed Technology Academy (AFT), shared two reports: "How to Achieve Consistency in Extruded Feed" and "Implementing OEE in Feed Production". He analyzed how to produce aqua feed with uniform appearance from raw material and processing perspectives, while explaining how to achieve efficient feed mill operation through refined management from a business standpoint.

Bangladesh's aquaculture involves diverse species and complex farming models, yet lacks strong technical foundations in feed technology. Wang Yaohua, Technical Director of Nutriera Group, provided detailed analysis on farming models, nutritional requirements, raw material selection and formula design for major cultured species like pangasius, tilapia and catfish. He also offered strategic suggestions regarding current raw material market conditions and competitive landscape, which generated great interest and positive feedback from attendees.
