During a field visit in mid-September 2020, it was found that the water color was black, there were many foams and oil film on the water surface. The water was dirty and turbid with low transparency.
In the early stage of the pond, the main algae are blue-green algae, water color was dark green. The farmer said that he regularly used disinfection and pesticide. In addition, the weather changed drastically during that time. It is hypothesized that the algal crash was triggered by weather changes and disinfection. The imbalanced algae phase (cryptophyta and other dinoflagellates are dominant) and the abundance of organic materials contributed to the water turning black.
3. Solution
• Use ToxinClean 250 g/1000 m3 at 8 am splash the solution over the pond.
• Use AquaJoy 300 g/1000 m3 + ProAlgae 500 g/1000 m3 to soak for 2 hours at 8:00 am and splash all over the pood, and turn on the aerators at the same time.
• After 5-7 days, repeat the above operation depends on the color of the water.

On September 19, 2020, we started to use our solution, and we visited the customer on September 24. The water color returned to green, the foam oil film on the water surface was significantly reduced, and the transparency of the water was improved.
After two months of high feeding from July to August, the water in many ponds is eutrophic, with a lot of organic matter, and blue-green algae dominate.
In September, it is close to the white dew, and the season change is easy to affect the algae. The habit of killing and disinfecting insects can easily lead to large-scale algae crash, causing the water to turn black.
ToxinClean could remove the oil film foam on the surface and improve the transparency of the water, it will be conducive to the growth of beneficial algae such as green algae at the bottom layer. Using AquaJoy and ProAlgae can inhibit the growth of harmful algae, promote the growth of beneficial algae, and adjust the algae phase in the water, to restore the abnormal water color to normal.
